We are glad to inform that this special edition of Sampada is focussed about one of the Flagship initiatives of UVCE Graduates Association – “Scholarship”. For the third consecutive year and 13th year in whole, alumni have joined hands in supporting the students in need.
The Scholarship Award Ceremony was recently concluded at the college and you can read all about it along with the photos, list of Scholarship Awardees and Donors etc inside this edition. As always, the event was organized in a very simple manner but tried to create the impact. Check it out !!
Other college updates – including the MARVEL, GDSC student clubs along with the activities can be found inside this issue. We continue to cover the grievances of the students – this time the third year students who are lagging behind an entire semester from their VTU counterparts – in our Student Concerns Corner section.
We have an interesting update about Benevity, a portal that provides charitable donation-management, volunteer-management and grant-management platforms. UVCEGA has been registered with this platform and it will help in getting additional support. If your company has tie-up with Benevity, please let us know by writing to info@uvcega.org
