Initiatives from UVCEGA have all been successful only because of the support from our alumni donors. We appreciate every alumni contribution irrespective of whether it is large or small. It is the mindset to help and the idea of “Giving Back to UVCE” that we respect. Thanks to all the generous contributions from individual and alumni groups, we have been able to:
- Continue the UVCEGA Scholarships for 15 consecutive years now (Initial 10 years as VU Scholarships) and help 750+ students so far with financial assistance worth 1Crore till now. This year alone we were able to disburse 16.5 Lakhs worth of Scholarships & Certification Support
- Inaugurate the new space for Marvel Lab, which helped to move into a larger facility opens up fresh opportunities for students. A total of 2.5 lakhs was invested to make the space ready for the students to learn, innovate and build. (towards setting up partitions, completing electrical work, and getting the basic necessities required for the lab to function)
- Work on water-proofing the roof and renovation of the old block of UVCE Boys Hostel. Around 20Lakhs has been spent on this project.
