Sampada-199

Hello UVCEians!

Sampada is back with its 199th edition, and there’s plenty to catch up on this time.

Inside, you’ll find the highlights from UVCEGA’s 6th AGM, including the new 2026-28 Executive Committee elected unanimously and the joyous scenes from the 2001 batch’s Silver Jubilee Reunion on campus. On the campus front, UVCE posted its best-ever placement numbers this season, and a new Centre of Excellence has been set up with TSSC & Nokia. We’ve also covered Karnataka’s push to partner with Anthropic for large-scale AI skilling. For a dose of nostalgia, don’t miss the touching excerpt from the 1963-64 batch’s Golden Jubilee memoir, alongside the regular updates from MARVEL and IEEE UVCE.

Give it a read, pass it along to your batchmates, and keep this community growing stronger with every edition.
